The Nordic Expert Group on Mental Health suggest a series of Nordic activities that support and supplement national strategies for mental health and support the development of relevant areas within mental health. The six areas chosen constitute challenges common to all the Nordic countries, where the differences between the countries constitute beneficial possibilities for mutual learning and the creation of Nordic added value. The concrete suggestions have been chosen with the intent of stimulating developments by collecting, building and disseminating common knowledge. The suggestions can support comparisons between the countries and the use of common and precise targets, monitoring and evaluation of the work currently being done regarding mental health.
