The Nordic Council of Ministers Action Plan for Vision 2030 describes the rapid and continuous changes in the labour markets in the Nordic countries, and how the transition to a green economy as well as digital development are imposing new demands.

This knowledge base focuses on challenges that have been identified for achieving a sustainable world of work. As a cooperation body of the Nordic Council of Ministers, Nordic Information on Gender (NIKK) is to contribute to realising the Council’s Vision 2030. NIKK’s areas of activity all deal with one or other of the major challenges of our time and are based on the global sustainable development goals(SDGs). By communicating a gender perspective on urgent questions, NIKK strives to contribute to sustainable solutions for social development in the Nordic countries.
