The energy policy co-operation programme sets out the political priorities and objectives for Nordic energy co-operation in the 2025–2030 period.
The Nordic Region has extensive experience with constructive energy co-operation and even though it is made up of separate nations, they form a unique community and collaborate in a targeted way to support efforts to create the best sustainable solutions and address our common challenges.
The co-operation programme prioritises efforts in those areas where the countries can work together to produce stronger results than what they would be able to achieve on their own. Special focus is placed on ensuring high security of energy supply for Nordic consumers and businesses, an enhanced Nordic position of strength for the energy transition and innovation, the development of an even more efficient and innovative Nordic energy market, and a stronger Nordic Region within international energy collaborations.
