Vedvarende energi i Vestnorden – Minigrønbog: The West Nordic Renewable Energy sources – Mini Green Book
Responsible organisation
2006 (Undetermined)Other (Other (popular science, discussion, etc.))
Abstract [un]

_______________________________________ The Mini Green Book about the West Nordic renewable resources and the perspectives for their use is a short presentation and description of the West Nordic sparsely populated regions' energy supply and the possibilities for a change towards greater use of renewable energy sources. The Mini Green Book is the foundation for discussions in the Nordic Council of Ministers concerning Nordic energy co-operation and research. The Mini Green Book is a catalyst for establishing contacts with the Nordic Countries' neighbours about an extended energy co-operation for the areas and regions that are characterized by being sparsely populated and have local communities, far apart. The information shows that the West Nordic countries collectively represent a broad spectrum of renewable energy sources, which with the right conditions, has the possibility to being utilized. Furthermore, there may be very large amounts of renewable energy resources. The Task Force for Renewable Energy in the West Nordic Sparsely Populated Regions has members from all the Nordic Countries and the self-governing areas.
