This report highlights 13 Nordic climate action initiatives across sectors such as agriculture, forestry, heating, electricity, transport, industry, renewable energy, and waste management. It examines how these initiatives align with paragraph 28 of the Global Stocktake Decision, adopted at COP28 in 2023. The case studies feature both technical and non-technical solutions from the Nordic countries, showcasing innovative approaches to addressing climate change. These initiatives demonstrate that ambitious climate policies can climate policies can be combined with economic develop-ment. However, challenges remain in scaling solutions globally. The Nordic experience underscores the importance of long-term policy stability, local and stakeholder engagement, and strong public-private partnerships. Key findings are organized into three main lessons and three critical enablers for success.
