This literature review focuses on private cultural funding in the Nordic countries. The literature review describes how the Nordic countries’ cultural policies approach the issue of private cultural funding and examines the extent to which private cultural funding exists. The report also describes the possible consequences of an increased focus on private cultural funding. The literature review places particular emphasis on the museum sector and the performing arts sector in the Nordic countries but also addresses the cultural sector in general.
