The Co-operation Programme for Health and Social Affairs describes the political priorities and objectives in this area for the 2025–2030 period.
The programme shall contribute towards Nordic benefit through close and continuous dialogue that enables knowledge sharing and the dissemination of effective measures. It will further work to ensure equal access for everyone to welfare services, to consolidate the universal welfare model and to prevent mental health problems, mental ill health and involuntary isolation across all societal groups, in order to ensure equal opportunities for everyone to lead good and healthy lives and to deliver clear, preventative and sustainable initiatives.
